Euthanasia: A Study

As fundamental rights in art.21 imposes restrictions over freedom of human life & body therefore Aruna Shanbag, who had been lying unconscious
since last 37 years, had been deprived of Wish Death or Euthanasia by the court. This verdict gave birth to an unending debate. As per provision of article 21  of constitution "no one can be deprived of his right of liberty to body & life unless permitted by law" But people are committing suicide, which could not be restricted by law & law enforcing agencies....................                                                                                                   It means,if we go to law for seeking permission of wish death ,answer'll be NO...but this legal imposition cannot stop every day increasing suicide cases.
Now question arises, what death is...........in my perception termination of consciousness is Death. But semi consciousness, when other organs ceases
to work but heart & brain continues to work & participate in process of thinking...this state may be called unconsciousness but not death .....Same was the condition of Aruna Shanbag in Mumbai & Mr. Mescarhance in movie guzarish. Therefore now we should think that what about those who are under incurable state since a long like Aruna & others. It's true that mentally they are not dead, their brain is functioning & this functioning is the  deciding factor of human activities but what to talk of such consciousness ,where one cannot put into exercise his wish for a period of more than
three decades. Is n't it a proper ground for granting death to a person paralysed & bed ridden for years together, and gradually creeping towards his
ultimate end.The person who reached to such an poignant state due to an criminal act,is it not the duty of state to own the responsibility of that mischief & failing in providing protection,Govt. must grant permission of euthanasia to him.
Our constitution grants us a right to live with human dignity, but should this Govt. not grant us a right of dignified death too.A person reached in VEGETATIVE STATE is not living his life rather he is living his death......& to cut short his agony he should be granted permission of Mercy Killing
.We may call it justice of nature...truely

Fear:Sweep it out

Since a long back I couldn’t talk to you. But the most meaningful earning of this time was to read few important and inspiring articles of renowned authors. One of them was Mrs. S. Hilliyard. I had an opportunity to read her one article “Living with shyness and social anxiety”. In this article she says that we have our own fears, if we do not try to get rid of these fears they often multiple their size as well as their impact to frighten us.
“We should never we worried or scared of any things”. It may be a fundamental saying or you may call it imagination of an ideal situation. But on the contrary fear is as omnipresent as God .Had we not been scared of several things then what was the essentiality of living in a society or a commune. In fact the feeling of living in a group generates from our inner fear because by living in a group we think that we can push away our this fear. There is a hindi word ”Himmat” which is often misinterpreted as absence of fear. This is half true, “Himmat” or Courage is a state of mind in which we know to control our fear. This is not absence of fear ,the element of fear is there, but we have learnt the tricks to control it.
Probably this is the distinction between a child and a courageous man because child doesn’t know the fear or danger. He can do anything because he doesn’t know the risk of his act and when he grows he starts understanding the factor of risk and danger . Herefrom fear infiltrates in our life. I’m remembering an incident of Anglo-French conflict. when a French leader Walteyer who was living in exile in London & was surrounded by a furious mob, shouting to kill him. After a while in pause he said, ”dear Britishers you wanted to kill me because I’m a french but is this punishment is not enough for me that I took birth in France inspite of England and subjected to sheer hatred of you people. His words gave a magical impact, and mob took him to a safe place. This incidents shows how to control over your passion of fear. As I have said earlier that fear is omnipresent. Therefore to learn to take over this fear is a master key to our personality enhancement and to success.(for ex. Your Exam phobia )
So never feel excited when you face a thing of fear or danger but give a patient thinking over that element ,creating fear and then willfully and firmly face the fear and encounter it to its last. This is the real victory of your personality and it takes you one step ahead towards your destination. This is real art of living……when you really learn to rule out the fear………

Importance of Cheerful Mood

It was a fine morning when Mr.X getup from the sleep,He was whistleing an old favourite tune.He Felt the funny morning in its full bloom. This has happened after a long span of time. Mr.X smiled and prayed to god to keep stable this state of mind every morning.
Recently “psychological science” has published a study in its December issue.I had this magazine in my departmental library.Psychologist Ruby Nayler,Rahel Ravi and John Paul Minda have jointly completed this work. And as per their opinion our mood has a bearing upon all the things around as. If we are in a good mood it makes us creative and we work fast.
They made three groups for study.Group one consist of positive mood people, next one of negative mood people and third one consist of people having neutral mood. During study they found negative people taking much time to understand any subject. They were less creative too .Neutral people took lesser time to understand the things in comparison to negative people. However they were a bit more creative also. Positive people were understanding the things quickly and they were even most creative group.
Often we realize that we could not attain the required speed of work inspite of continuous efforts .Usually we feel that there is no harmony or newness in our work. But on the other hand, some day we feel a cheerness in our acts and we have an entirely changed body language. And that day we perform our all courses with determining pace and feel very light after completing our work. This all happens due to change of our mood, which always gives a quicker response if in a light and cheerful state.
Conclusion-If we are in a cheerful mood ,it hastens our working capacity and working attitude both and we can achieve our targets more quickly .So if you want to achieve your targets easily and quickly, you will have to learn to live with cheerful mood

                          Nostalgic Archives
Mother   Dawn and Dusk hath passed with pace,
She kept on weaving my woof of cells .
She poured her blood and marrow with love, so intense,
Through infinitive cluster of arteries and veins.

Vismajor, the wee actuated towards a new horizon,
To ooze out from misty, nebulae after a weary swim.
Pale pain vanishth when she heard a mellow shriek,
I came into being, Ma, prayed with sweat on her lips.

Father     Amidst all soothing blessing and itching awful ironies,
He firmly remained stretched, with all his elegancies.
                  For decades with calm indignation,
Hiding his wounds beneath his soul,
Swinging on his stems and hugging his trunk,
Happens to be my choicest goal.

Once I joined few knaves, with alluring bait in their ruck sacks.
Paused! With tears in eyes, yu to my son, his eyes said.
Manured with ethics and being shaped well with ard’or,
I bid adieu to my lone parasol, to pave an eerie path over.
Teacher   On follow footpath, he appeared,
To console ‘n’ put, on my back, his palm.
Took my index within his hand,
trained me steps firm and strong,
The destiny put this filthy clay on his potter’s wheel,
He enshaped with virtues and valued me worth to dwell.
He brooded me in dazzling days & darkest nights,
I learn from him to walk in black storms without ray of light.
When the battle was going on, ere, I learn all winning tricks,
And get on my every bout, with pious ‘n’ humble ethics.
 Me and My love
Me a knight who conquered phythia and phython both,
Found self strayed, entwined in jinxy lines of fate ‘n’ hope.
Frightened and dammed for a sin that never done,
Implored door to door for getting a barren pardon.
Exhausted after, long lasting battle, against hazy images,
drenched in blood and shame, moved with my gibbet thru ages.
No Simone behind, deliriously saw Christ too turned Harod,
Ah! With wrecked utopian kaleidoscope, deprived a nip of nectar drop.
Even a natural delight to see, those loving departed souls,
A tide of passion to hug her, I love from my heart’ deepest core.

     Conclusion
Concluded my voyage, Which fairly start,
                                                  with a melancholy note.
                            With few shreds of attainments,
eluded to Elysium long lingering shore.

Dedicated Efforts : A Key TO Achieve All You Disere

Mr X has come back to his room, After making discussions with his team. He just leisurely lay down on his chair. He thought now nothing is going to happen, He will keep on doing the duty but their is no specific hope.
This state of mind has been defined by a famous psychoanalyst Ceaser Storm.According to her an optimistic can have the life as he desires but their is nothing that a pessimistic can't achieve it.Infact there is no difference between an optimism & a pessimism .The real difference is this, that how they are making their efforts. This associate professor of psychology deptt. of Kentucki University has written a popular book"Breaking Murphy's law:How optimists get what they want from life-and pessimists can too". In this book she has differentiated between optimists and pessimists at large.
A general perception is, "If we are not optimistic we may not achieve our goal". But apart from this thousand of people have achieved their goal, though they were pessimistic in their thoughts. The reason behind it is that to be mere optimistic does not make you to reach at your destination. The main thing is that how much sincere efforts we've made to get what we desire. And always the person who has made sincere efforts gets the desired goal,Inspite of being pessimistic. It's true that an optimistic may have his desired goal more easily, because he is filled with hopes therefore his path becomes more comfortable. But the basic truth is this that after all he had to walk along the path.Seldom, An optimistic also miss his target because he is ready by heart but he couldn't put that much physical labour which is required to get on the target. Thus the infrence is that,we should be equally fit by mind and physic to achieve our target. The imbalance between anyone of the things turns into failure.
This article reminds me my interview,Where I had to face a volley of questions on optimistic and pessimistic attitude. This will also remind you the famous story of "race between hare and tortoise".So whenever you start towards a destination keep on moving with firm determination and dedication you will definitely reach at your destination. This is a real glory of life.Try it.......................

This is a story of every common man who is amongst us. He is a man, who is holding the post of a team leader, to facilitate us in writing and narrating the story I name him Mr.X.Our hero, Mr.X is a team leader facing all the problems which usually a team leader faces. I'll  try to narrate one by one his story when he faces some emmotional set backs or problems.
Today Mr.X is not normal ,since he came back from board meeting. He was sitting idle in his cabin not willing to intract with anyone. Suddenly he felt that he has to apply more force in taking breath. He was a bit frightened.           It happens with every one, when our mood changes the pace of our breathings. When we are under immense tension, we offen feel problem in taking breathings. Prof. Dr. Allen Fozal head of the deptt. of psychology of Uata university says that we can get rid of stress, if we control our breathing intake. Deep breathing is very essential part of stress management programme. In Indian yoga system "pranayam" is a process to controle our breathing system. Actually in indian life style, control over breathing is very important aspect of living. In our India, we don't name breathing air as simple air but we call it "pran vayu", it means the air which carries our "prana" or life.In our philosphy of life pranayam is diviced to control our entire  breathing system. "Pranayam" not only keeps us hale and hearty, it also helps us to focus on a particular subject,we can call it concentration............... Every morning visualise the gold with in you and take a few deep breaths and let it awaken you to the rich and abandent world with in you. Your breaths should be neither too deep nor too shallow. just breathe steadly and calmly as you can. Thus take a step in to a whole new world of inner abandence -of health, wealth and happiness. Breathing is a symphony of life try to listen it with complete focus on its musical notes. it shall be a new experience of life.Enjoy it..................................

Years back I had an occasion to read this story somewhere. Since then it filled me with anxiety. today I have an opportunity to share my anxiety with you people. This story is about a soldier who had been deployed at Vietnam. When war was over, he returned home from Vietnam. he made a telephone call from San Francisco to his parents, stating,"Mom and Dad.I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask.I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me".      "Sure" they replied,"we'd like to meet him".
"But there is something you should know". the son continued,"he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mine and lost his an arm and a leg. he has no where else to go and I want him to come & and live with us."
I am sorry to hear that, son, may be,we can help him find somewhere to live''.
"no, mom & dad, I want him to live with us".
"son," sad the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. we have our lives to live. and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own".

At that point, the sun hung up the phone. the parents heard nothing more from him thereafter.
A few days later they received a call from San Francisco Police. they were told that, their son had died after falling from a building.
The police believed it was suicide.
The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue (mortuary) to identify the body of their son. they recognized their son but to their horror they also discovered something they did'nt know, their son had only one arm and one leg.
the parents in the story are like many of us. we find it easy to love those who are good looking, charming, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable.
We would rather stay away from people who are not as healthy, beautiful or smart as we are or as we expect.
While on the other hand there's or there are someone who won't treat us that way, someone who loves us with an unconditional love he welcomes us into the family forever, regardless of how messed up we are.
So,tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that god will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be,more under standing of those to are different from us.
