let's salute the real spirit of valour & patriotism shown by brave police officers at Mumbai. And pay homage to departed souls .This is the time to give a thought to an unseen aspect of Police department,when they r always criticised for their working calibre.without realising the grassroot difficulties.IT is police only which always stands with public during utmost immergencies.But to their misfortunes they never get due appreciation from all of us.Is'nt it something like a little boy who is scared of going to a dark room,where he is apprehended of presence of a Ghost.But the same boy during day time happilly goes to same room without fear.The only reason behind it is "DARKNESS".I mean to say is that whenever we r unable to see a distant object due 2 some problems,some fear,some hazzy images and due to some difficulties in taking decision & this is the moment when we feel a Ghost around us,it is darkness.Then we resort to Police,& when we became able 2 see everything,the very first thing we do is to forget our PARASOLE.It is not far behind when a brave police Inspecter gave his life during a day light encounter in Delhi.But Alas! we remembered his sacrifice for a day or two.Then we started blackening his valour for our one interest or another.Again in Mumbai episode Late Mr.Keskar shall be subjected 2 enormous criticism,and his sacrifice shall again be a forgotten story.Who will remember that he died for a noble cause,leaving behind only & only tears in to the eyes of his family members,whose screams shall often break the silence.My request to all 0f u is to give just 30 seconds to think that why these Police Officers r sacrificing their lives for our good? Mumbai attack:an ordeal

It is some thing like an AGNI PARIKSHA (test by fire)of our patience,our strategic proficiency,our ethics and over all our national integration. And very proudly we can say that we've come up with flying colours.The patience shown by our soldiers & the integration shown by whole of the Nation is very soothing.specially amongst these cut throat days.But one thing to which I wouid like to draw all of ur attention is role of our media.26 nov. night all channels started showing live coverage of police action,it's alright .but after an hour or two there started an open race of showing & expressing too much about police action.Ultimatly I had 2 send an E-mail 2 an important channel to control their anchors.But it remained just for 2 to 5 hrs.& again thereafter they started mimickry of police actionplan.this is not for the first time that electronic media has made mess of an issue but whenever there comes any moment of grave concern comes elect. media usually make it a comedy.Now question arises, what r the causes of this foolhardy act ? & the answer is very simple T.R.P..should elect. media be given all liberty to make a mockery of our national issues ? NO not at all .we can not enjoy this luxery,then what ?Well,we shall have to realise the importance of CRIME specially in context of news business, which is very much based on crime reporting , a fair & rational reporting of crime gives a diffrent glare to the reporting.Here we shall have to take into account the ethics of reporting also.when we r giving report of an sensatiopnal incident we must have it in our cognigence that by glamourising the Crime & Criminals we r betraying not only our customers but we r also not justifying our national debts.The real misfortune of our national press is that as a rule we do employ youngsters on Crime Desk & result is this that, they usually go away from ethical values of a reporter & often acts in a rediculous manner.I don't want to demoralise these youngsters But my submission is to alert them from acting beyond permitted limits of a sobre reporting.Now let's change the topic since 2morrow a debate will start over this cowardice act & we may witness a few exclamatry summersoults by our leaders? on this we may come close 2morrow.(To be contnd.)

Steal a goose & give giblets in alms

Adam ko khuda na kaho adam khuda nahi,Lekin khuda ke noor se Adam zuda nahi.
A Quixotic Griffin captured the nation for three days altogather & then a few angles appeared & saved the nation from those demons.The most shining face of this operation is the musical notes being played in honour of policia khakhi,which is always subjected to criticism.I'm viewing smiling officers giving interviews on media chnnls.without realising that this ordeal is a result of lack of proficiency on the part of Police itself.We must admit it that this has happend due to our own neglligence.But is it enough ? is it the whole truth ? Shd. Police only be made responssible for this carnage ? Answer is NO .In our rural area a common saying is that an ox jumps in accordence with depth of stake,so is the case with Police deptt.
Being a democratic state our Executive Heads r elected fm.Public mandate.Every Political Group has its own vote bank & it is their political compeltion to obilige or appease these vote bank groups. Sometime this compeltion leads to a major destruction & knowingly or unknowingly state govt.having diffrent parties in power doesn't show that much of concren which is required.Now the need of the time is to device an integrated security system with one head.Moreover this is a proper time also to pray not only for the peace of souls departed in ordeal,but to instill a true sense of national honour even on the cost of party loss amongst political groups. Amen
