Mumbai Attack : An After Score

let's salute the real spirit of valour & patriotism shown by brave police officers at Mumbai. And pay homage to departed souls .This is the time to give a thought to an unseen aspect of Police department, when they r always criticised for their working calibre.without realising the grassroot difficulties.IT is police only which always stands with public during utmost immergencies. But to their misfortunes they never get due appreciation from all of us.Is'nt it something like a little boy who is scared of going to a dark room, where he is apprehended of presence of a Ghost. But the same boy during day time happilly goes to same room without fear. The only reason behind it is "DARKNESS".I mean to say is that whenever we r unable to see a distant object due 2 some problems, some fear, some hazzy images and due to some difficulties in taking decision & this is the moment when we feel a Ghost around us,it is darkness. Then we resort to Police,& when we became able 2 see everything, the very first thing we do is to forget our PARASOLE.It is not far behind when a brave police Inspecter gave his life during a day light encounter in Delhi. But Alas! we remembered his sacrifice for a day or two. Then we started blackening his valour for our one interest or another.Again in Mumbai episode Late Mr.Keskar shall be subjected 2 enormous criticism, and his sacrifice shall again be a forgotten story.Who will remember that he died for a noble cause, leaving behind only & only tears in to the eyes of his family members, whose screams shall often break the silence. My request to all 0f u is to give just 30 seconds to think that why these Police Officers r sacrificing their lives for our good? If they r bad only.(to be contd.)

Mumbai attack:an ordeal

It is some thing like an AGNI PARIKSHA (test by fire)of our patience, our strategic proficiency, our ethics and over all our national integration. And very proudly we can say that we've come up with flying colours. The patience shown by our soldiers & the integration shown by whole of the Nation is very soothing.specially amongst these cut throat days. But one thing to which I wouid like to draw all of ur attention is role of our media.26 nov. night all channels started showing live coverage of police action,it's alright .but after an hour or two there started an open race of showing & expressing too much about police action.Ultimatly I had 2 send an E-mail 2 an important channel to control their anchors. But it remained just for 2 to 5 hrs.& again thereafter they started mimickry of police actionplan.this is not for the first time that electronic media has made mess of an issue but whenever there comes any moment of grave concern comes elect. media usually make it a comedy. Now question arises, what r the causes of this foolhardy act ? & the answer is very simple T.R.P..should elect. media be given all liberty to make a mockery of our national issues ? NO not at all .we can not enjoy this luxery, then what ?Well,we shall have to realise the importance of CRIME specially in context of news business, which is very much based on crime reporting , a fair & rational reporting of crime gives a diffrent glare to the reporting. Here we shall have to take into account the ethics of reporting also.when we r giving report of an sensatiopnal incident we must have it in our cognigence that by glamourising the Crime & Criminals we r betraying not only our customers but we r also not justifying our national debts. The real misfortune of our national press is that as a rule we do employ youngsters on Crime Desk & result is this that, they usually go away from ethical values of a reporter & often acts in a rediculous manner.I don't want to demoralise these youngsters But my submission is to alert them from acting beyond permitted limits of a sobre reporting. Now let's change the topic since 2morrow a debate will start over this cowardice act & we may witness a few exclamatry summersoults by our leaders? on this we may come close 2morrow.(To be contnd.)

Steal a goose & give giblets in alms

Adam ko khuda na kaho adam khuda nahi,Lekin khuda ke noor se Adam zuda nahi.
A Quixotic Griffin captured the nation for three days altogather & then a few angles appeared & saved the nation from those demons. The most shining face of this operation is the musical notes being played in honour of policia khakhi, which is always subjected to criticism.I'm viewing smiling officers giving interviews on media chnnls.without realising that this ordeal is a result of lack of proficiency on the part of Police itself. We must admit it that this has happend due to our own neglligence. But is it enough ? is it the whole truth ? Shd. Police only be made responssible for this carnage ? Answer is NO .In our rural area a common saying is that an ox jumps in accordence with depth of stake,so is the case with Police deptt.
Being a democratic state our Executive Heads r elected fm.Public mandate.Every Political Group has its own vote bank & it is their political compeltion to obilige or appease these vote bank groups. Sometime this compeltion leads to a major destruction & knowingly or unknowingly state govt.having diffrent parties in power doesn't show that much of concren which is required. Now the need of the time is to device an integrated security system with one head. Moreover this is a proper time also to pray not only for the peace of souls departed in ordeal, but to instill a true sense of national honour even on the cost of party loss amongst political groups. Amen

Euthanasia: A Study

As fundamental rights in art.21 imposes restrictions over freedom of human life & body therefore Aruna Shanbag, who had been lying unconscious
since last 37 years, had been deprived of Wish Death or Euthanasia by the court. This verdict gave birth to an unending debate. As per provision of article 21  of constitution "no one can be deprived of his right of liberty to body & life unless permitted by law" But people are committing suicide, which could not be restricted by law & law enforcing agencies....................                                                                                                   It means,if we go to law for seeking permission of wish death ,answer'll be NO...but this legal imposition cannot stop every day increasing suicide cases.
Now question arises, what death is...........in my perception termination of consciousness is Death. But semi consciousness, when other organs ceases
to work but heart & brain continues to work & participate in process of thinking...this state may be called unconsciousness but not death .....Same was the condition of Aruna Shanbag in Mumbai & Mr. Mescarhance in movie guzarish. Therefore now we should think that what about those who are under incurable state since a long like Aruna & others. It's true that mentally they are not dead, their brain is functioning & this functioning is the  deciding factor of human activities but what to talk of such consciousness ,where one cannot put into exercise his wish for a period of more than
three decades. Is n't it a proper ground for granting death to a person paralysed & bed ridden for years together, and gradually creeping towards his
ultimate end.The person who reached to such an poignant state due to an criminal act,is it not the duty of state to own the responsibility of that mischief & failing in providing protection,Govt. must grant permission of euthanasia to him.
Our constitution grants us a right to live with human dignity, but should this Govt. not grant us a right of dignified death too.A person reached in VEGETATIVE STATE is not living his life rather he is living his death......& to cut short his agony he should be granted permission of Mercy Killing
.We may call it justice of nature...truely

Fear:Sweep it out

Since a long back I couldn’t talk to you. But the most meaningful earning of this time was to read few important and inspiring articles of renowned authors. One of them was Mrs. S. Hilliyard. I had an opportunity to read her one article “Living with shyness and social anxiety”. In this article she says that we have our own fears, if we do not try to get rid of these fears they often multiple their size as well as their impact to frighten us.
“We should never we worried or scared of any things”. It may be a fundamental saying or you may call it imagination of an ideal situation. But on the contrary fear is as omnipresent as God .Had we not been scared of several things then what was the essentiality of living in a society or a commune. In fact the feeling of living in a group generates from our inner fear because by living in a group we think that we can push away our this fear. There is a hindi word ”Himmat” which is often misinterpreted as absence of fear. This is half true, “Himmat” or Courage is a state of mind in which we know to control our fear. This is not absence of fear ,the element of fear is there, but we have learnt the tricks to control it.
Probably this is the distinction between a child and a courageous man because child doesn’t know the fear or danger. He can do anything because he doesn’t know the risk of his act and when he grows he starts understanding the factor of risk and danger . Herefrom fear infiltrates in our life. I’m remembering an incident of Anglo-French conflict. when a French leader Walteyer who was living in exile in London & was surrounded by a furious mob, shouting to kill him. After a while in pause he said, ”dear Britishers you wanted to kill me because I’m a french but is this punishment is not enough for me that I took birth in France inspite of England and subjected to sheer hatred of you people. His words gave a magical impact, and mob took him to a safe place. This incidents shows how to control over your passion of fear. As I have said earlier that fear is omnipresent. Therefore to learn to take over this fear is a master key to our personality enhancement and to success.(for ex. Your Exam phobia )
So never feel excited when you face a thing of fear or danger but give a patient thinking over that element ,creating fear and then willfully and firmly face the fear and encounter it to its last. This is the real victory of your personality and it takes you one step ahead towards your destination. This is real art of living……when you really learn to rule out the fear………

Importance of Cheerful Mood

It was a fine morning when Mr.X getup from the sleep,He was whistleing an old favourite tune.He Felt the funny morning in its full bloom. This has happened after a long span of time. Mr.X smiled and prayed to god to keep stable this state of mind every morning.
Recently “psychological science” has published a study in its December issue.I had this magazine in my departmental library.Psychologist Ruby Nayler,Rahel Ravi and John Paul Minda have jointly completed this work. And as per their opinion our mood has a bearing upon all the things around as. If we are in a good mood it makes us creative and we work fast.
They made three groups for study.Group one consist of positive mood people, next one of negative mood people and third one consist of people having neutral mood. During study they found negative people taking much time to understand any subject. They were less creative too .Neutral people took lesser time to understand the things in comparison to negative people. However they were a bit more creative also. Positive people were understanding the things quickly and they were even most creative group.
Often we realize that we could not attain the required speed of work inspite of continuous efforts .Usually we feel that there is no harmony or newness in our work. But on the other hand, some day we feel a cheerness in our acts and we have an entirely changed body language. And that day we perform our all courses with determining pace and feel very light after completing our work. This all happens due to change of our mood, which always gives a quicker response if in a light and cheerful state.
Conclusion-If we are in a cheerful mood ,it hastens our working capacity and working attitude both and we can achieve our targets more quickly .So if you want to achieve your targets easily and quickly, you will have to learn to live with cheerful mood
